Aurum

AURUM Nature, Humboldt said, is a united whole comprised of complex relationships. These relationships establish a form of coexistence, of help, or conflict (or both at the same time), a circular route running from birth to death. Life emerges to span a vital experience that builds and demolishes. These images are a brief conclusion, or, better put, a bow to the sacredness of nature. The thermal blankets that blend in with the terrain represent the sacred, the universal, the mystery from which we come and to which we return, again and again. The value of the place we come from, but also what we feed on.

AURUM La naturaleza, decía Humboldt, es una totalidad unida formada por relaciones complejas. Esas relaciones establecen una convivencia de ayuda o de conflicto (o ambas a la vez), un recorrido en círculo que va y viene desde el nacimiento hasta la muerte. La vida emerge para recorrer una experiencia vital que construye y derriba. Estas imágenes son una breve conclusión o, mejor dicho, una reverencia hacia lo sagrado de la naturaleza. Las mantas térmicas que se mimetizan con el terreno representan lo sagrado, lo universal, el misterio del que venimos y al que volvemos, una y otra vez. El valor del lugar de dónde venimos, pero también de lo que nos alimentamos.
